The online marketing group's goal is to drive the strategic use of online tools to promote Macquarie University.

Our focus is on:

  • ongoing management of Macquarie University's online advertising including:
      • Search Engine Marketing
      • Display Advertising
  • developing, implementing and maintaining a social media strategy and guidelines
  • enhancing existing websites
  • enhancing the search engine optimisation (SEO) of key sites
  • development of online content including video production

Utilise the work of the online marketing team:

  • Advertise online - If you are seeking to develop a campaign, paid search and online media can be very cost effective.
     
  • Use social media - Social media provides great opportunities to connect with and engage your audience.  We are developing the tools to help you implement effective social media initiatives and avoid some of the common pitfalls.
     
  • Develop online content - Good content is the currency of the internet and developing material that your audience will find relevant and useful will help you to engage your audience and means you are more likely to be found in search engines (SEO).
