The media and communications team manages University-wide communication channels including:
Staff and student homepages
Content on the home pages is decided in advance according to University priorities across a range of units and departments. News stories are regularly featured on both pages, as well as the main University home page. Individual messages can be approved at short notice on a case-by-case basis.
We send a daily email to all staff highlighting urgent or important news affecting business operations or staff health and safety.
The staff newsletter is updated weekly and covers all aspects of campus life, including news, events, classifieds and notices.
The University has a growing network of digital screens around campus, providing up-to-date information to staff and students in real time. Messages can be scheduled in advance for news and events. The system is also used for broadcasting emergency messages.
